Centrist

You scored 56% Personal Liberty and 42% Economic Liberty!

A centrist believes in moderate government intervention in both
personal and economic matters. They tend to be somewhat ambiguous, as
they may have the oppurtunity to pick the side of any group surrounding
them on any given issue. They generally believe in a moderate social
safety net and what they consider to be a balanced stance on personal
liberty. Centrists tend to emphasize compromise and cooperation between
partisan groups.

About this Entry
Mar. 16th, 2006 @ 05:07 pm Series 7
The time has come and I have taken the Series 7. I am now a registered representative for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). I am officially a stock broker and now have passed the hardest step in the road. I will get the book for the series 63 to be registered in the 50 states. That exam only takes a day to study for and then I will be done. I will be a trader for E*Trade.

Everything has been good as of late. I have officially completed a month at my new job. It has been good so far and I have learned an immense amount of information. By the end of next month, I will pretty have no car payment left and no other payments left, which means in April I can start to save money and reallocate all my money into stocks and money markets so that I may make money at a greater pace. I can't believe that I will be graduating in May and then it is off to more classes to continue finishing my degree in accounting. Upon the completion of accounting, I shall pursue a Masters in Accountancy as well as attain a CPA license. Presently, I am studying for the Series 7 license for my new job so that I may be a stockbroker. In addition, I have decided what I want to do in the future. I want to work either in a compliance capapcity or working for a regulary agency such as the FBI, SEC, IRS. My goal is to work within fraud and white collar crime. I hope everyone is doing well. :)

Current Music: Nirvana - Pay to Play
I have now been at E*trade for 2 weeks and all has been well. I have been the group leader for knowledge of our computer software. Last week, we have begun using the phones to become more familiar with our customers and to become more comfortable. This upcoming week, we will be almost fully functional where we will have a representative next to us to monitor while we do all the work. This will continue into next week while also receiving other training. Then on February 6th, we will be a fully functional team and on our own. Currently, I have started to study for my series 7/63 licenses so that I may become a registered representative. In other news, classes have been fine but it will be an extremely busy semester because most of my courses are work intensive and also because I am studying for the series 7/63.

The new year has begun and it has had an interesting beginning so far. I am starting a new job on the 9th of January for E*Trade Financial Services. This shall mark the first job that fits my business degree. I will be a financial service representative and will be on track of getting a series 7/63 license so I can be an official NASD licensed dealer. From there, the sky is the limit. I can't wait till I begin.

In recent news, I will be on FOX 13 in the near future. They will tag along with me and TPD on a ride along on November 28, 2005. It has now been cleared with USF, FOX 13, and TPD. In other news, my application with HCSO seems to be going well at the moment. I have my polygraph on Monday and then a jail tour on Saturday of the same week. Then the following friday will be my physical abilities assessment. The background investigation started a couple weeks ago and my initial interview went well. Current weight status, I have remained at 176 (15 pound loss) for the last week intentionally to establish some consistency. I will shortly begin the diet as well as more agressive exercising.

More updates to come...

This is my last USF schedule as an undergraduate:

GEB 4890 901 Undergraduate 3.000 Regular Strategic Mgmt/Decision Making
ISM 4212 002 Undergraduate 3.000 Regular Database Design/Administration
ISM 4480 901 Undergraduate 3.000 Regular Electronic Commerce Systems

After this semester, I am officially graduating with a BA/BS in Business Administration with concentrations in accountancy and MIS. In addition, I will also have a BA/BS in Criminology. In recent news, I failed the initial Physical Abilities Test with TPD which I will be retaking in December. The main reason I failed was because I was not prepared for it at all. I began an exercise and dieting program from the date I failed it. This has consisted of eating a balanced diet and exercising everyday. Performing weights every other day as well as doing a minimum of a mile and a half walk/jog/run everyday. I have lost 12 pounds so far and plan to lose another 28. I will pass this PAT next time. :) In addition, I am also applying with HCSO to be a detention deputy as a plan b if the TPD thing does not work out. I have my interview tomorrow for that.

THE END IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!

Sep. 6th, 2005 @ 08:59 pm wow
Today I worked for the robbery unit and all I can say is wow. It is amazing to gather eveything that you learned and everything you have seen on tv. It simply amazing to put everything together.

Best quote of the day: "What do you want pig."

Here is the case of the day:

Tampa police are investigating a carjacking and kidnapping that occurred Tuesday morning at the Jackson Court Apartments.

Police said Michelle Dashia White, a 25-year-old black female, has not been located. But her 2003 Ford Focus was recovered about two miles away at the intersection of 58th Street and 30th Avenue by her mother.

Police are looking for 38-year-old Willie James Pettermon, a person of interest in the case. Pettermon is 6-foot-3 and weighs between 200-220 pounds. They said he's armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

Tampa police spokesperson Joe Durkin said Pettermon is a former boyfriend of White. He said the the former couple had a history of domestic violence.

Police said Pettermon has a lengthy criminal history and is known for carrying a gun. Durkin said he's currently wanted for absconding from community control. He also has warrants for violating probation on cocaine charges and carrying a concealed firearm.

Investigators said 37-year-old Eddie Lee Mungin was in the car with White when a man approached the car and threatened them both with a gun. Police said Mungin fled the scene on foot while the suspect fired two shots at him, leaving White screaming for help.

Detectives also found a cracked windshield and a small spatter of blood in White's car, but they don't know if the blood is White's.

Police are urging the public to call 911 if you see Pettermon or White.

I have officially started my internship for the Tampa Police Department. Thus far, it has been fun. Today I worked with a hit and run detective. It was fun and I heard some good stories. Next week, I will probably working patrol throughout Tampa and will probably try to do midnight patrol in Ybor. I think this is going to be my favorite class ever. :)

Currently, I am sitting in my room listening to some awesome music. I have officially met one of my roommates and he seems pretty cool. He is from Germany and is 6 foot 6". He plays on the USF tennis team and is an international student. I still have not met the other roommate. In other news, I am almost a 6th year student at USF and will be graduating next semester. I have been preparing for another semester by doing lots more drinking and partying. :) This summer was probably one of the best summers of my life. I regret nothing that has happened. School begins on Monday and I have purchased all my books. I am taking 18 credits again this semester and will only be work 3 days a week. I am OFFICIALLY taking my LSAT october 1st. I can not fuck that up. This will determine the future.

I am officially settled at Avalon. :) Thus far, things have been well. I am cutting my work schedule down to 3 days a week and taking another 18 credit semester. I am officially graduating spring of 2006 with 168 credits. A major in criminology and business administration as well as a minor in psychology. I have decided that my overall goal is to be a judge which means I probably will climb the ranks by first becoming an ADA. My LSAT will be in October and I will probably be going to either Stetson, UF, or FSU. The LSAT will tell all.
